I just wanted to chime in and wish all of you a very happy holiday. I just finished wrapping the presents and putting them under the tree so now I wait out the minutes until Christmas arrives :)
I got one present early before we drove down - a 30" Apple Cinema Display from Vinney. The monitor is nothing short of amazing and because of it for the first time in a few years I'm running a single display on my main system.
Anyways, enjoy the holidays and be safe out there.
Take care

the question is, is there a video card in the world that can drive that display, AND ply the latest ames at it's native resolution?? looks like anand is gonna be seting up his own personal 6800 Ultra SLI setup pretty soon... ;-)Commodus - Saturday, December 25, 2004 - link
Now here's a question: Anand hasn't mentioned in the past getting a video card that can drive the 30" display. So either Vinney bought him a 6800 GT/Ultra at the same time (and yes, crtfanboy, the Mac versions of those cards drive that display), or he has some review card that can handle it. ;)kensei - Saturday, December 25, 2004 - link

dang im jealous.... I did get a new LCD monitor though... but its only the Samsung 715N, so nothing quite as cool as your present, but a significant improvement from my craptacular 17" CRT :-)Dtravis - Saturday, December 25, 2004 - link
